Henri Bendel love

I really love a brand that understands the world of brand influencers and their importance in marketing.  Henri Bendel has been doing a big campaign showcasing some of today's most popular bloggers and fashion influencers.  They made a big push for their hashtag #bendelgirl. And I was so honored to be able to partner @parisandalatte with them for a fun night of fashion last Thursday.

It was a fun night of fashion with some sips and sweets with some of my close family and friends, and of course, so many of my blogger babes I have met during my time here in the Twin Cities. 

 It was a room full of girls with a love for shiny things and beautiful bags, getting the perfect shot, and a love for supporting other #bossbabes.  Everyone had a blast taking pics for their instastories, blinging it up as they sipped on champagne.  We had a fun raffle for my guests that night that the lucky Alyssa Lesavage won.  Congrats babe.  

I also put together fun gift bags for all my guests - all of the sponsors were just so generous with everything.  (Huge thank you to Orly, Kind, and all our sponsors for @parisandalatte.)  We included the beautiful Minneapolis Scout Guides.  Even Henri Bendel gave their gorgeous sunglass cases as part of my gift bag with the classy brown and white stripe that their are notoriously known for.  

The best part of the night was that it was documented by the Twin Cities top photographer, Lindsay Marcus. She's just so talented and she's worked with some of the girls before so there was definitely a comfortability with her.  Although, even if you haven't met her before, she just has a sweet aura that is anything but intimidating.  Yet she takes these amazing power shots.  I'm so glad she was there because she captured the night perfectly.  So if you're local, definitely check her out.  Her work is amazing.  You can check her website out here .

Yahoo Style and Beauty: Mother's Day OOTD

Happy Mother's day to all the beautiful mamas out there.  It's the wildest feeling knowing that you're a mama and that you're responsible for these little beings.  I keep thinking, this day shouldn't be for me.  I'm the one who's lucky that these little ones chose me to be their mom.  What a special job I was given to take care of them.

I got to shoot a Mother's day segment for Yahoo Style and Beauty and I literally went back and forth on the perfect outfit for the show.  I had a few options that I shot.  You can see the segment here.

And here are the different looks I came up with.  I just feel like as a mom, sometimes it gets so busy and you don't get to doll yourself up.  Mother's day is the time you get to spend time on yourself and glam up.  And as different as these looks are, you still feel pretty, classy, flirty, feminine and everything you should feel not only as a mom, but as a woman.

Henri Bendel x Paris and a Latte

I'm getting giddy here!  It's almost one week until my my Henri Bendel x Paris and a Latte event at the Mall of America!

I have so many fun things planned and I have some really special people coming so it will be a great event to kick off the summer!!

In the meantime I have been creating a wish list of things from the store.  Here is a small glimpse at some of the Henri Bendel bags I'm coveting.  This is horrible - but I couldn't wait until next week so I got one of these beauties already. Can you guess which one??  I'll be posting some pictures soon with it.  My hands down absolute favorite line is the Waldorf line.  It's just so classy with the gold hardware.  I'll take anything from that line.  What are some of your favorite styles from Henri Bendel?

May day: OOTD

Happy first day of May!!  How is it May already??  Where did this year go?
I'm sharing details of my recent outfit of the day I posted on @parisandalatte .

 I kept eyeing this beautiful soft green blouse at HM.  I would always contemplate getting it when I passed by it at the store.  It was just so pretty with the sheer fabric and ruffle details.  What pushed me to get it was I was shopping online to get Gabriel an outfit from HM kids for a wedding anniversary we were going to and 1) everything online was an extra 20% off and 2) it was free shipping if i spent a certain amount.  And of course i was close to that amount but not quite there.  Do you find yourself in that predicament a lot? Gets me every time. So, I had no choice but to add this blouse to my cart.  And I'm so glad I did because I can't tell you how many compliments I get on it and I really do feel so girly in it.  Its epitomizes what spring is all about.

Since the blouse is dressy, I paired it with my favorite Madewell jeans.  I did the half tuck to show off my waist but also to show the button fly details on the jeans.  I accessorized it with my Cayetano Legacy Collection clutch and chunky heeled sandals.
